Messrs. Editors – We desire to give in words some expression of our deep and heartfelt thanks to the noble band of firemen who at great risk made an heroic struggle to save our property, and to these noble men and women who gave us shelter, and especially to those whose hose we are now occupying, and to those kind friends who in such a graceful manner contributed of their means to lighten the burden in a financial way, and we sincerely pray that they shall never be called upon to realize what we have passed through.
