Mariah Luvenia Delashmit Beaver: Mrs. S. D. Beaver, widow of the late S. D. Beaver, of Beaver, died at her home Saturday, April 25, at 2 p. m., following an illness of 10 days. Funeral services were held in the Presbyterian Church at Beaver Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock, interment occurring at Ravenscroft cemetery. Rev. J. D. White, of Brighton, assisted by Rev. Mr. Wheeler, of Cordova, conducted the services. Mrs. Beaver was a member of the Presbyterian Church and her excellent character is attested by the large numbers of friends who have extended to her surviving sons and daughters their sympathies and sorrow at her passing. Five sons survive Mrs. Beaver, Messrs. E. L., J. D., S. L.,S. M., and L. G., all of Tipton county, and two daughters, Mrs. Adkison of Atoka, and Mrs. Callie Craig, of Dyersburg.

Mariah Luvenia Delashmit Beaver was born on 9 Mar 1865, in Tipton County, Tennessee. Her father was William Franklin Delashmit who died within a year of her birth. Her mother was Mary Ann Tennant Delashmit.
Mariah married Stephen Daniel Beaver on 27 Dec 1881, in Tipton County, Tennessee. She was only 16 years old when she married. During their marriage, they had several children:
