MARY JANE DYE HEMP BURRELL | Jane Burrell, aged 59 years, wife of Reuben Burrell, a well-known colored man of the 9th district, died at her home at 9 o’clock Friday night of Bright’s disease, and was buried at Salem Sunday afternoon at 4 o’clock, Rev. J. A. Hubbard conducting the funeral services. The deceased is survived by her husband and two children.

Jane died of Chronic Nephritis, also called Bright’s Disease, on July 5, 1918. She is buried in Salem Cemetery in Mason; however, I have not been able to find a headstone for her or her husbands.
