After an illness of only two weeks, James Glass, Jr., aged 15 years, lacking five days, passed away at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Glass of the Oak Grove vicinity. Friday morning at 8 o’clock, pneumonia being the cause of his death. The funeral was conducted by Rev. C.H. Parish, pastor of Oak Grove and Liberty churches, at the family residence Saturday morning at 10 o’clock, with interment following in Walton graveyard. Jimmy, as he was familiarly known, had been a member of the Baptist church for three years and was an active worker in the Sunday school and B.X. P. U. of his church. Though just a lad, he had made many friends in the neighborhood where he lived.
