Nancy Ann Nichols Gross | 81, of Phoenix, Arizona went to be with the Lord on Thursday June 14, 2018 after a fight with cancer. Her family surrounded her at the time of her passing.
Nancy was born in Memphis, Tennessee and moved to Munford, Tennessee before the age of one. She grew up in Munford. Where she eventually met and married her deeply loved and devoted husband of 62 years, Norris. After being married, they moved to the Knoxville area where she worked to put Norris through The University of Tennessee. During their time in Knoxville, they had two sons, Jeff and Franklin.
Following Norris’ graduation, they returned to Memphis. Soon Nancy earned her Real Estate License and became a successful Real Estate Broker. She served on the Board of Directors for the Memphis Area Association of Realtors, and also served as President of the Women’s Council of Realtors.
After a successful career in Memphis, Nancy and Norris moved to Phoenix, Arizona. They enjoyed traveling and went on many cruises. Her grandchildren and new great-granddaughter, provided another joyous past time.
Finally, Nancy attended Arizona Community Church. She was a devoted Christian Lady and enjoyed going to Bible Study groups with her women friends. Nancy loved meeting new people and always had a positive smile and attitude. She was always available to help, and will be greatly missed by all.
Survived by her husband, Norris; sons Jeff (Dianna) and Franklin; sister Margaret Williams; grandchildren Tara, Duncan, Shelby, Joseph and Samantha; great-granddaughter Lainey Grace and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers in memory of Nancy, contribute to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
