West End Cemetery at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Cuningham continues to be the burying place of the Seay family. It too is a split-off of “Woodlawn”. “West End” was the home of William Francis Brodnax, the eldest son of R. T. Brodnax. The first to be buried there was Lucy Lyne Brodnax in 1872. She was the daughter of W. F. Brodnax and his second wife, Eliza Maclin. Another daughter was Willie Frances Brodnax who married William Rives Seay. They and many of their children lie in rest there. W. R. Seay’s brother, Richard Seay, and Mrs. Seay’s aunt, Lucy Maclin, are also buried there.
