Doyle – Anderson Wedding | A wedding of unusual interest to their many friends here was quietly solemnized at 5:30 o’clock Wednesday afternoon at the home of the bride’s mother near Clopton, when Miss Lottie Anderson, of that vicinity, and Mr. Clyde Wesley Doyle, of Memphis, formerly of Braden, were joined in matrimony, Rev. L. V. Hurley, pastor of the Clopton Methodist church, performing the ceremony in the presence of the immediate family and a few close friends.
The bride is a most popular and attractive young lady. For the past two years she served as assistant matron for the Dunlap Orphanage. In the last county Democratic primary she was the leading lady candidate for county register, and made a strong fight for the nomination, which attested her popularity over the county.
The bridegroom is a prominent business man of Memphis and has a number of friends here. The couple will reside in Memphis.
