Arrans, Johnny Leard “Pistol” Jr.

DRUMMONDS: Johnny L. Arrans Jr., 20, house painter, died Monday at the Regional Medical Center at Memphis from injuries received in an automobile accident. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Grace Baptist Church in Rosemark with burial in Walls Cemetery in Braden. Peebles Fayette County Funeral Home in Somerville has charge. He was a Baptist. Arrans leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny L. Arrans of Drummonds; two brothers, Raymond Elton Arrans of Mantachie, Miss., and Jimmy Dewayne Arrans of Drummonds; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Fincher of Millington and Mrs. Emily Arrans of Ripley.

Obituary of Johnny Leard Arraons Sr.

SUMMERVILLE – Johnny Leard Arrans, 65, expeditor for Roe’s Insulation Co., former Millington taxi driver and former employee of Howards Farms in Millington, died Wednesday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Peebles Fayette County Funeral Home with burial in Walls Cemetery in Braden. He was a Baptist. Mr. Arrans, the husband of Rachel Fincher Arrans, also leaves two sons, Raymond Elton Arrans of Marietta, Miss., and Jimmy Dewayne Arrans of Millington; his mother, Toy Emiley Arrans of Somerville; three sisters, Julie Mae Staggs of Seattle, Ella Louise Cupples of Arlington and Linda Ellen Mitchell of Killeen, Texas; two brothers, Jimmy Allen Arrans of Cayce, Miss., and Jessie D. Arrans of Memphis, and a granddaughter. The family requests that any memorials be sent to a charity of the donor’s choice.
