DEATH — Lester Grover Adams, of near Rialto, died suddenly Wednesday morning after an attack of pneumonia. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. E. H. Hutchison at Townsend Cemetery this (Thursday) morning. He is survived by his widow, two children, his parents, three brothers and two sisters.

Lester’s death certificate tells us that he was born in Tipton County, Tennessee on February 6, 1905. His father was T. H. Adams born in Mississippi and his mother, Annie Jones Adams, was also born in Mississippi. He was a farmer and died in Rialto on February 29, 1932, of Tuberculous Pneumonia. He was only 27 years and 26 days old. The informant is listed as T. H. Adams, his father, of Covington, Tennessee. His burial was in Townsend Cemetery on March 3, 1932.
** His obituary states that he left 2 children. Apparently, his wife, Odie, was pregnant with their third child, Lester, when he died. **
Lester and Odie were married in Haywood County on March 16, 1927. The marriage record shows the witness to this marriage as W. T. Currie. The cost of the marriage license was $16.00.
